BLIND SOUND DRAWING

This series of drawings were made during a collaborative project where sensed were heightened by removing sight with a blind fold. The drawing was made in response to a musical score or sound loop. Layers of paper, old drawings and painted backgrounds were layered over one another and a series of pens, charcoal, pastels, erasers and pencils were placed in front on me. This drawing is the result of heightened listening and tactile sense awareness created by removing one of my most valued senses - sight.
